Natalie Beckenbaugh has been playing the oboe for over ten years. Her pre-college experiences included being a member of Dekalb Youth Symphony, Buckhead Youth Orchestra, Spivey Hall Children’s Choir, and participating in All State Band/Orchestra for three years.

Natalie continued her education at the College Conservatory of Music where she studied with Mark Ostoich. Here, she was a member of the Wind Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Concert Orchestra, and Philharmonia. Besides being a member of these groups, she gave three recitals, competed in scholarship competitions, participated in Music Teachers National Association, and was a member of her quintet, 4+One.

After receiving her Bachelor of Music degree she furthered her education by pursuing a Master’s Degree at Carnegie Mellon University, under the tutelage of Cynthia DeAlmeida. While at Carnegie Mellon, Natalie served as the Teaching Assistant for the Oboe Studio, participated in other student's recitals, competed in chamber competitions with her quintet- Gradations of Sound, and organized community outreach events.

Now that she has graduated from school, she currently lives in Atlanta and is expanding her studio and pursuing professional auditions.
